Cananea, Sonora

Cananea is a small mining town located in the mountains just 50 miles south of the border.

In addition to mining, the maquiladora industry is an important contribution to Cananea’s economy, with several maquiladoras providing jobs in aerospace, automotive, electronics, communications, medical, agro-industry and appliances fields. The town features an industrial park and trucking services to the U.S.
