Sonora, First State With Creditable State Police Department

First State With Creditable Police

Sonora has the first Creditable State Police (PEA) in Mexico with the highest standards in recruitment, evaluation, training and equipment.

The PEA is staffed by a group of 434 elements, 127 women/307 men with an age average of 27.5 years old, all graduated from Instituto Superior de Seguridad Publica.

Sonora is an example for Mexico consolidating its position as the safest border state of the country, and now adopting a new way in the preparation of police officers.
